Poll Comments

I'd love to hear your comments. Part of my job is to keep you informed and motivated to continue to implement technology into your teaching. Is a visual presentation at a faculty meeting a good use of everyone's time? (I'm not suggesting that this is the only avenue though which information will be shared)

I'm looking forward to your comments!

The presentation by you was fun and the follow up website link is terrific.

I enjoyed the visual presentation...since I am a visual learner, it helped me remember what to look for once I came back to the classroom. It was certainly NOT a waste of time for me! Thanks!

Just loved it! Visuals help me to stay focused and to remember in the future.

I don't really think we need to have a technology lesson every faculty meeting unless there is a problem that is affecting everyone. Perhaps many things could be communicated through email and a weekly newsletter. (Great idea, Angie.) Maybe some of it could be directed to specific grade levels or teachers who might be interested so that we are not all inundated with information. I think a half-day in-service is a much more effective way to teach a new program or the use of a new piece of equipment, ideally with PLU credit.

I believe we could use our time more wisely if we used Angie's newletter idea and/or e-mails instead of faculty meeting time.

Every time you spend on sharing something with us or me personally I learn something new. Thanks for all you do.

I like the idea of having a technology tip of the month. Teachers can look forward to it and then we have time to try it out.

Thanks for the info, visuals really help!

ON a SIDE NOTE- My class blogged on Mandy Garola's site for Cade and Cora. They really enjoyed reading her blog, seeing the pictures, and hearing Cora sing! I am a fan of the BLOGS and teaching the kids how to navigate them.

Thank you for allowing us time to practice. That is always helpful for me. I am looking forward to using the Buzz words game and the tiles game with vocab. in social studies.
